So that there are no puddles on the countertop around the sink, and the stream from the tap does not spray your clothes at the same time, it is important to choose the right mixer for the sink. How to act - this is our material.
Action algorithm
1. Understand how you are going to use the sink. Let's say whether you only wash your hands or even wash your dog twice a day after a walk. Depending on this, designate yourself the desired mixer parameters: low or high, long or short.
2. Determine the sink parameters suitable for the mixer (whether it should be deep and wide, or can you choose among flat and narrow models).
3. With a clear understanding of the desired parameters of the mixer and sink, go to the store - choose models of a suitable design.
How to find out which mixer you need?
Mixer with rotary aerator. Such models are produced by Kludi. In them, literally with one movement of a finger, you can change the angle of incidence of water from the mixer and, thus, adjust it to the geometry of a particular sink - so that the water falls to the bottom, and does not hit the walls. The same company produced faucets, the height of which can be increased or decreased, also adjusting them under the sink.
In the photo: adjustable s-pointer aerator from KLUDI factory.
Two parameters. Sink faucets have two main parameters that you need to pay attention to when choosing: the height of the spout and its length. It will largely depend on them whether it is suitable for you.
The same parameters will determine the choice of the sink. Low spout - 12-15 cm. High - from 25. Accordingly, everything in the middle is a medium spout.
High or low? Watching how you are used to using the sink. If you just wash your hands and a toothbrush in it, you have enough mixer with a low or medium spout. For those who are used to washing their heads in the sink, as well as rinsing shoes, paws for a dog or a baby's ass, they need a tall, from 30 cm, spout.
How to choose a sink suitable for the mixer?
General rule. The higher the spout, the deeper, “bowl-shaped” the sink should be. For flat sinks, taps with a high arcuate spout are not suitable: water will be sprayed around the room. Flat sinks combine with small taps.
The correct geometry. The mixer spout must be of such a length that the water at full pressure does not fall on the sink walls, but exactly on its bottom: either on the drain valve, or, if the sink is wide, between the drain valve and the front wall. Hence the conclusion that a narrow sink is not suitable for faucets with a long spout, and vice versa - too wide is not suitable for a mixer with a very short "spout".
If the sink is on the countertop. Such sinks are in fashion recently and for them a standard mixer will not work. You need to choose among models on a high rack. That is, to the usual height of the mixer will have to add the height of the bowl and, based on this, make further calculations.
In the photo: mixer K-19774-4 factory Kohler.
What to consider: Water does not come out of the mixer at right angles (except when the "spout" of the mixer is L-shaped). Typically, the angle of incidence of the jet is always greater than 90 degrees - as a rule, it is 110-135 degrees. Based on this, do the calculation of the length of the spout and do not forget to take into account the distance from the mixer stand to the side of the sink. For some models with a “nose up”, the water jet can exit at a very large angle - so they also need a wider sink, otherwise the water will hit the wall and spray, or the mixer will have to be turned on not at full strength.
Holes When choosing a sink, pay attention to whether there are holes in it and how many there are. This is true for wall mounted sinks that are mounted without moydodyra and therefore the mixer is not installed on its countertop, but on the side of the sink. Please note that among the mixers there are models for one, two and three holes. You will have to look for the appropriate sink for them. Or make a choice in favor of moidodyr.
How to choose a design matching sink and faucet?
Mixer with pull-out hose. This can be a way out for those who like to pick up buckets in the sink or wash their hair. True, usually such faucets are designed for kitchen sinks, but no one forbade you to install them in the bathroom. Another option is to mount a hygienic shower in the washbasin next to the regular mixer.

From one collection. The easiest option is to buy a faucet and sink from one collection. Then guaranteed a match not only in style but also in technical parameters. Self-respecting manufacturers will bring schemes of all possible mounting options in the product data sheet and indicate the optimal distance at which the mixer should be from the side of the sink, so that water flows exactly to the drain valve and nowhere else.
From different collections. It is recommended to select faucets with the same outlines for sinks with rounded shapes, and clear and graphic models of faucets for angular models, respectively. But, of course, this is a general rule and it is better to check compatibility by appearance in practice - i.e. at least, before choosing a faucet for the sink, bring one to the other in the store. And of course, it’s better not to mix retro taps with minimalist sinks and vice versa.
Hansgrohe Matrix. How to choose a faucet for a sink, if its brand is known? On the Hansgrohe website, you can use the compatibility table for Hansgrohe and Axor taps with sinks from various manufacturers (including Laufen, Roca, Keramag, Villeroy & Boch, Ideal Standard, Duravit). The compatibility was checked by the specialists of the company according to several parameters: according to the style, whether it is convenient to wash hands when combining this mixer with this sink, and whether splashes fly to the floor and walls with strong, medium and weak water pressure. The matrix shows the most successful combinations, you can sort by the collection of the mixer, the manufacturer of the sink, and even by the designer - the author of the plumbing collection.
The subtleties of choosing tall taps for the sink-bowl
Choosing a faucet is a serious undertaking. You must choose a quality product of a trusted brand that can last for many years. In addition, the selected faucet must fit the interior as a whole and the installed washbasin in particular. The modern market offers such a huge number of varieties of goods that it is quite difficult to choose a specific product. It is necessary to study all the nuances in order not to make a mistake and not to overpay for low-quality products.
You can often notice that drops and streaks of water remain around the bowl of the sink. This is because the height of the mixer for this washbasin is not selected correctly. For sinks in the shape of a bowl, a mixer with a high spout, the length of which depends on the size of the sink itself, is suitable.
Before you go shopping, you should understand the variety of varieties of these devices.
At the installation site, the cranes can be divided into:
- universal (can be installed in any room),
- For bathroom,
- For shower,
In addition to the classification at the installation site, high mixers can vary in the way they are controlled:
- double lever (with two valves),
- single lever (with one handle that moves horizontally and vertically),
- sensory (with motion-sensitive photocells),
- portioned (a certain amount of water is poured out after pressing the button),
- thermostatic (temperature is set and maintained at a certain value).
In addition, you can make a high crane from various materials. The best option is a brass chrome-plated product, as it is not susceptible to oxidation and retains its original appearance for a long time. Slightly less durable, but cheaper stainless steel or non-ferrous metal crane. Plumbing from polymers is practically not installed in modern houses - it is too unreliable. But more and more widespread are various design devices made of glass, multi-colored stone and white enamel.
Selection rules
Tall mixers can vary greatly in size and spout length. In order to choose it correctly for a particular sink, you need to pay attention to its parameters.
The greater the depth of the sink itself, the higher the mixer should be. Firstly, this will avoid strong splashes in the room and on clothes, and secondly, it will make it possible to wash even large dishes and objects in the sink. This is especially true not for the consignment note, but for the desktop sink, where the mixer is installed not at the side of the bowl, but at the level of its bottom.
In this case, it should be so high as not only to “reach” to the edge of the sink, but to rise significantly above it.
The greater the distance between the front and rear walls of the sink, the longer the tap should be spout. Otherwise, the water will simply drain down the rim, which will cause great inconvenience both in caring for the sink and in its direct use.
Since today you can choose both classic oval and square models of bowl-sinks and designer products of complex shapes in plumbing stores, you need to choose a tall mixer so that it is not just the right size, but also the right fit. For example, for round bowls, a faucet with a soft bend and smooth shapes is best, and hexagonal valves and the luster of chromed metal will perfectly combine with a clearly defined rectangle.
One of the most important conditions for the correct selection of the tap is the need for the length of the spout to exceed the width of the rim of the sink around which it is attached. Since the faucet can be installed not on the surface of the sink itself, but in the wall or in the countertop next to it, it is worth paying special attention to this. If this condition is not met, then water will pour on the side and for it, and this can lead to a real "flood".
Thus, the ideal faucet for the sink-bowl is a high tap with a bend length such that water flows exactly to the middle of the bottom and the spray does not fly out of the bowl.
It is best if the water does not fall at a right angle, but slightly deviates forward - washing and washing dishes with such a falling string is most convenient.
Choosing the right faucet for installation in the bathroom sink
Failure of plumbing and faucets in the bathroom leads to many household problems: flooded neighbors, an icy or scalding stream, high water consumption. To avoid these troubles, it is important to choose the right equipment, in particular the sink mixer in the bathroom.
Mixer selection options
The plumbing market offers many different faucets. While shopping, my eyes just run wide. When choosing a mixer, it is important to pay attention to the following parameters:
- material of which the mixer is made
- mixer control method,
- suitable design.
It is a successful combination of all the technical and aesthetic properties of the mixer that makes it reliable, durable and stylish. The pleasure of the smooth operation of cranes is not always cheap. A cheap mixer will require replacement in a month.
The costs of a quality mixer are fully justified:
- long service life
- economical water consumption,
- guarantee of reliability - floods and all associated troubles are not terrible.
What are the mixers made of?
Modern mixers can be made of various materials:
- metal and its alloys,
- plastic
- bronze
- granite.
Experts recommend choosing a brass or bronze mixer. These materials have all the necessary qualities:
- resistant to water
- no calcareous deposits form on their surface,
- do not give in to corrosion.
It is very simple to distinguish a sulimin fake from a brass mixer - the second will be weighty, massive.
To reduce the cost of cranes, manufacturers resort to tricks, leaving the “heart” of the mixer brass, and the rest of the elements synthetic, for example, from ABS plastic.
For a more aesthetic look, faucets are coated with enamel or chrome. Enamel flies over time and the appearance is lost. Chrome plated surfaces are more resistant to mechanical stress. Moreover, bacteria and microorganisms do not multiply on chromium-treated surfaces, which is also important.
Granite mixers are exclusive expensive plumbing fixtures. Not everyone can afford them. But if such a faucet adorns the bathroom, it becomes a real designer work of art.
Types of Mixers
When choosing a mixer, various technical factors must be considered. This is the nature of the pipe layout (vertical, horizontal), and the method of fastening (built-in and mortise). Built-in faucets are attached to the wall, mortise - in special holes on the sink.
The shape of the spout distinguishes the following types of mixers:
- short with a fixed nose,
- long with a curved movable nose.
The second type can be used as an economy option in bathrooms, where the sink is installed next to the bath. In this case, the mixer will be one in two plumbing fixtures.
The way to control the crane can also be varied and play an important role in choosing a model. By the type of control, faucets for sinks in the bathroom are classified:
Each of these types has its advantages and disadvantages.
Single lever mixers
Such mixers are also called one-gripping, one-armed. They are considered the most common and in demand. Pressure head and water temperature are easily adjustable with one hand.
A design feature of such a crane is the internal mechanism - two spherical surfaces. The different combination of these surfaces allows you to adjust the flow and temperature of the water in one motion. Single lever mixers according to the principle of the device are divided into two categories:
Cartridge single-lever mixers are present in the catalogs of all well-known manufacturers. Failure or wear of the internal mechanism is easily eliminated by replacing the cartridge, which is much cheaper than replacing the entire mixer.
Another variety of single lever taps are joystick mixers. They are distinguished only by a control lever located on top. In models of such mixers, an economical mode of water flow can be provided. In this case, exit from the economy mode will be accompanied by resistance to movement of the joystick.
Advantages of single lever mixers:
- durability,
- ease of use
- ease of repair.
Among the shortcomings, we can distinguish the rapid wear of ball models of mixers. If the wear of rubber gaskets is fixable (they can be replaced), then a breakdown of the internal mechanism cannot be repaired.
Valve mixers
Two-valve mixers - a classic bathroom. They will always be fashionable and in demand.Manufacturers pay tribute to this type of faucets and develop more and more new models, adapting them to a modern interior.
The main element of the mixer is the crane box. The principle of operation of a two-valve mixer is simple: when the valve is turned, the locking element is opened. The pressure force of the jet is regulated by the size of the open hole. Water is mixed by the simultaneous opening of two valves in the spout of the tap.
Such mixers are classified by the type of locking device in the crane box:
The elastic gasket is subject to wear and requires regular replacement, otherwise the tap will start to leak. Manufacturers, trying to fix this drawback, add silicone to the gaskets, thereby extending their service life. Moreover, to control the jet and water temperature, it is necessary to do up to 8 revolutions of the valve, which is not very convenient in using the tap.
The device of the ceramic valve is more reliable. It consists of two round ceramic plates with holes. The plates are smoothly sanded and equipped with a rotary mechanism. When the valve rotates, the plates rotate around their axis, and the degree of coincidence of the holes regulates the force of water supply. To regulate the temperature, it is enough to make a quarter or a half-turn of the valve.
Attention! The installation of a valve mixer with a ceramic valve is only possible if tap water is pre-treated through filters.
Advantages of valve mixers:
- durability,
- the possibility of using tap water for any pressure (this property is important in the presence of a gas water heating device),
- economical use of natural resources.
- the supply of hard water makes the use of faucets with a ceramic valve problematic,
- elastic pads need regular replacement.
Mixers - Thermostats
Thermostatic mixers are a fairly young invention. During their development, all requirements for modern faucets have been taken into account: reliability, durability, fashionable design, modern technology.
The design provides for the presence of two handles. One is responsible for supplying the desired water jet pressure, the second - for the required temperature. The mixer features an integrated thermostat. Once you have set up and saved the necessary parameters, in the future, when you open the tap, the water flow will fully meet your requirements. The operation of such a mixer eliminates the possibility of burns with hot water. Its acquisition is doubly justified when there are small children in the house.
Advantages of thermostatic mixers:
- operational safety
- modern design,
- stable temperature of the supplied water,
- water supply does not depend on pressure in the general system.
Disadvantages of faucets - thermostats:
- in the absence of flow in one of the pipelines, the mixer completely stops working,
- high price.
Touch (non-contact) mixers
The latest technology has allowed manufacturers to take a step in the development of mixers. Touch faucets incorporate all the best from their predecessors. To distinguish them from other types of mixers is simple - they do not have valves and levers in their design. The design of such cranes is based on minimalism.
The principle of operation of contactless mixers is the presence of an infrared sensor that responds to movement. The response angle reaches 30º and is set manually. All necessary settings (pressure, temperature) are adjusted once using a small valve, often hidden in the case. An infrared sensor requires power.
The advantages of touch mixers are obvious: they are the most reliable, safe and innovative devices.
Disadvantages of infrared mixers:
- difficulties during the collection of large water tanks,
- Frequent changes in water temperature are undesirable
- high price.
How to choose a faucet for a sink by design
In order for the mixer to harmonize with the sink, become one whole composition with it, complement and decorate it, it is worth following some rules.
The simplest solution is to buy a faucet and sink from the same manufacturer and from the same collection. But this is not always possible, and the ensembles offered are not always to your taste. In this case, it is worth listening to the recommendations.
- Harmony of shape. Shell shapes should be duplicated in the mixer (round, angular).
- Endurance style. The retro-style faucet will not look in any way with a sink in the Hi-tech style and vice versa.
- Convenience. For small sinks, the faucet must be chosen with a small L-shaped spout, otherwise water will be sprayed onto the walls and floor.
The variety of faucets for sinks in the bathroom is amazing, but choosing a suitable faucet is quite difficult. When choosing, it is necessary to take into account many factors and consider all types of mixers for reliable, safe and durable operation. This is the only way to create a unique bathroom interior, where the faucet plays an important role.

How to choose a basin mixer
When choosing plumbing for the home, first of all, you need to rely on a clear understanding of the desired parameters of the products and their functionality. Many people ask how to choose a faucet for the sink, which type and material is better? How to prevent mistakes in choosing a mixer, and this article will be devoted.
It’s good when you have a clear repair plan and a lot of time that you can devote to choosing a crane design, surf the Internet or go to specialized stores. Worse, if the need to buy a new mixer is dictated by a sudden breakdown. In this case, it is necessary to select and purchase a new, high-quality crane as soon as possible.
The consequences of the wrong tap
First of all, the wrong faucet can ruin the impression of the interior of your kitchen or bathroom. On the other hand, acquiring an expensive branded product, many forget about the practical side of the issue.
Since you have to use the sink daily, you should not sacrifice convenience for the sake of visual perfection. The faucet should fit the sink bowl, the spout should not be too low, but not very high, otherwise the water will be sprayed throughout the bathroom. It is also worth considering the physiological characteristics and complexion of your loved ones, especially if you have small children.
The technical side of the issue is the further maintenance of the product. Any crane, depending on the design, eventually requires the replacement of rubber gaskets, cartridges, as well as an aerator. Before buying, you should make sure that you have the right supplies and installation items.
Common mistakes when choosing a mixer
Damage to the faucet in the sink in the kitchen or in the bathroom causes considerable discomfort. In addition, the lack of time for choice and reflection prompts a person to buy the first copy or one that was advised by a sales consultant.
When choosing a faucet for the sink, not only the external design, but also the materials are of great importance. Today's plumbing market is simply filled with poor quality products. The desire to save on the purchase of a quality crane can lead to a second situation, but with more serious consequences.
The avaricious pays twice, so if you do not plan to once again flood the neighbors from the bottom or arrange a flood in your own kitchen, trust trusted, well-known brands. The cost is guaranteed to pay off itself by reliable, serviceable and long-term operation of the product.
What to consider when buying a faucet for a sink
To choose the right faucet for the sink and subsequently not regret the purchase, you need to decide where and for what purpose the product will be used. You need to decide in advance what features you need. This will significantly reduce the time spent searching.
First you need to determine the type. To date, there are many various models made in a variety of stylistic and constructive options:
- traditional valve taps
- single lever with cast or swivel housing,
- modern contactless mixers with thermostat and infrared motion sensors.
Valve models are one of the most popular options. They are not whimsical to use and care. Maintenance consists in the periodic replacement of rubber seals.
Single lever taps are a good option for small bathrooms with compact sinks.
Contactless options have not yet received much distribution. The reason for this is a rather high price, which is not affordable for most buyers.
Any of the above options can fit into the interior of your kitchen, the question is solely in individual needs and, accordingly, financial capabilities.
Pay particular attention to build quality and material. Most often, stainless steel, bronze, brass or plastic are used in the production of mixers. Of course, the best option would be a faucet made of bronze or brass. Such material has excellent performance and a long service life. Also, brass products often have a decorative chrome or nickel coating. Such a decision can play an important role in creating the original interior.
Some manufacturers make cranes from combined materials, which allows you to purchase a reliable model with an attractive design at a relatively low cost.
Here you can get more detailed information about the choice of faucets, as well as purchase your favorite option. The site presents a wide range of various models produced by Teka at competitive and affordable prices.

Features of faucets for sinks
The sanitary faucet in the sink to the bathroom differs from other types of equipment in the length and height of the spout. Such cranes are available with:
- shortened spout - up to 15 cm. This type of mixer will look perfect on a small sink. A slightly raised nose of the sanitary equipment will ensure the comfort of receiving hygiene procedures and will not create a large amount of spray, which is economically viable.
- long spout - from 30 cm. This type of mixer is suitable exclusively for large and deep sinks. A feature of the models that should be considered when buying a spout is the water supply at an angle of 900. Therefore, it is recommended to buy a sink with a margin of depth, otherwise it will be extremely uncomfortable to wash your hands. It is advantageous to buy a faucet on the sink in the bathroom of a small area. In such rooms, as a rule, the sink is located next to the bathroom. If the spout is rotary, then it is convenient to use it for two types of plumbing at the same time, which saves money.
- shower head - ordinary hygienic shower. Such models are considered universal. Manufacturers offer faucets with a long and short spout. It’s more convenient to use a slewing crane, then you can save on buying a shower rack, since the leading manufacturers of a bath and sink faucet have a hygienic shower with a hose longer than 130 cm. ) water flow. About 48% of buyers noted that the divertor on cheap taps quickly fails, leaks appear. More often, consumers bought Migliore Bomond ML.BMD-9714 CR spout.
Types of mixers by installation method
Almost every faucet on the sink in the bathroom has a flexible eyeliner, which simplifies the installation of plumbing equipment in the wall above the sink or on the side of the plumbing. Flexibility of the connection means that the tap can be placed at some distance from the pipes - flexible hoses for connecting cold and hot water 45-50 cm long. Manufacturers of spouts for the bathroom also offer a special type of faucets with built-in installation. It is this type of plumbing equipment that is most in demand today. Virtually all manufacturers offer it.
If you need a convenient and practical spout, then it is recommended to buy a faucet for the sink in the bathroom of conventional installation - on the side of the sink. Such a device is easy to maintain, can be repaired without extra time and effort for complex dismantling.
Mixer manufacturing materials and selection tips
Usually brass acts as a material for the manufacture of taps, but there are also stainless faucets in the sink to the bathroom - you can even buy copper appliances, nickel products, and other metals. But brass models are considered the most durable and inexpensive. When choosing a spout for a sink, you should pay attention to whether the device has a reliable protective coating on the body. It will be more practical for you to choose a basin mixer coated with the following materials:
Although two-color mixers are considered popular today, the coating of which is made of materials of different quality. For example: chrome and wood, zinc and ceramic / granite. The Kaiser Stone 61211 mixer (chrome / marble) has recently been in great demand among consumers.
When choosing a mixer in the bathroom, you will have to take into account not only the external data of the sanitary equipment, but also its technical characteristics - connecting diameter, number of mounting holes, installation method, spout shape (normal or cascade) of the mixer, characteristics of the shut-off valve (cartridge) and the presence of additional functions. Among the latter include - thermostat, swivel or retractable spout, features aerator. The greater the functionality implemented by the manufacturer in the mixer, the higher its cost.

Choosing a washbasin faucet
What do you think determines the comfort of home? From a soft chair, a meal at your favorite round table, a cozy floor lamp? Yes, from them too, but if we talk about where our day begins and how it ends, all roads lead to the bathroom. Whether your area becomes pure pleasure or a source of problems depends a lot on the mixer you install.
Faucets play an important role in the interior design of the bathroom, but their main task is to ensure high-quality supply of water to the sink in the volume and temperature that are comfortable for you.
Turn the valve, press the lever!
By the method of installation, all mixers are divided into on-board, wall-mounted and built-in. And by type of construction, they are dual-valve, single-lever and non-contact. The first type can be called the most traditional, even conservative, because for many decades it was the only option available. A model with a narrow spout and two gates on the sides is the most familiar for us. It will ideally fit into a classic, vintage or retro interior, especially if it is made of copper or gilded brass and harmonizes with other accessories from the same material. The group of two-valve mixers includes not only monoblock designs, but also those where the spout and valves are separate elements. They are designed for installation on a sink with three holes or for concealed installation in a wall.
In modern design bathrooms, single-lever mixers with a handle located above the spout are more appropriate. This option is much more convenient and practical, because with just one easy movement of the hand up or down, we set the water pressure, and turning the lever (or, as they say, the joystick) left-right sets the temperature. The design of such mixers is based on a ball module, so they are often called "ball". Similar models are quite reliable. The only thing they do not tolerate is solid particles floating in water. Therefore, it is imperative to provide for a special coarse filter that is installed in the pipe.
If you don’t see any external elements regulating the flow on the mixer, it means that you have an “advanced” contactless or touch version. It consists of a short spout and a barely noticeable sensor, which, like a keen hunter, reacts to movement. It is worth raising a hand, as the water begins to flow, and as soon as the tap "loses sight" of a person, miracles end. Such magic is the merit of ultra-precise electronics: as a rule, the sensor picks up movement at a distance of 1 to 30 cm. Agree, it’s very economical! In addition, such “smart” mixers are a real salvation for people who are always in a hurry and scattered, who, rushing to work, start frantically remembering whether they turned off the water or not. True, this innovation is very expensive.
Bowl full of water
Most washbasin faucets are installed directly on the sink or on the countertop in which it is mounted. Their distinguishing feature is the bottom valve, which allows you to open and close the drain hole using a small lever inserted into the mixer body. The length and shape of the spout of such models depend on the size of the sink. It is important that the water flows exactly in the center of the bowl, so always choose a mixer for a specific case. When mounting aboard a sink, taps with a short spout are more often used. But the larger the bowl, the spout should be higher.
Warm, even warmer ... but without boiling water!
The thermostat is a new generation mixer, which combines the best qualities of all the others, and also takes into account the main requirements for reliability, safety and convenience. Externally, thermostats look like panels with several knobs to adjust the temperature and turn on / off the water. Unconditional plus - settings are saved as long as necessary. In addition, thermostats automatically limit the water temperature to a level set by the user. If hotter water is required, this function is easily disabled. Also, thermostats do not supply too cold water, which is very comfortable and safe for children. A mixer with a thermostat is indispensable when there are taps for a shower and a washing machine from the same pipe, and the pressure often jumps. If the supply of hot or cold water suddenly drops in the water supply, you will only feel a change in pressure, the temperature of the flow will remain unchanged. There is a thermocouple in the mixer body that controls the mixing process: as soon as the water gets a little colder or hotter, it changes the flow ratio and the balance is restored.
To simplify work with built-in mixers, some manufacturers have developed special universal flush mounting systems. In some cases, these are just installation platforms, and the water mixing unit itself is supplied complete with the external part of the mixer. Other options include both the mixing unit and the mounting platform. The flush-mounted mixer itself, even with a complete set, does not cost much, but installing it will cost much more than installing a conventional wall-mounted mixer. When buying, be sure to pay attention to the water supply pipes. The eyeliner can be rigid (brass or copper tubes with a crimp connection) and flexible (metal-polymer hoses). In the first case, adapters are required, which are not always included in the kit.
We use the sink much more often than the shower. Accordingly, profitability is especially important for her mixer. All leading manufacturers lowered the bar for water flow to 5-6 l / min. This is the best indicator: you can wash your hands and face well, or brush your teeth, and not spend extra natural resources.
Waterfall at home
Most of us enjoy the contemplation of water flowing in a continuous wide stream, as in a real waterfall! This effect is created by cascade mixers. They differ from the usual ones in larger sizes, up to 300 mm wide and with a flat spout forming a uniform stream. Cascade mixers have the highest throughput. Unlike a conventional mixer, which at maximum pressure is capable of producing 15–16 liters per minute, a cascade mixer delivers 35–55 liters.
Not a single iron
The faucet is not a car, this thing is quite simple. Because the materials for its manufacture are not so many. The choice is due to safety, manufacturability and, of course, appearance. The price of the mixer also depends on the material. The body of the device is usually made of alloys (brass, copper, bronze). Other parts can also be metal, and their surface is often chrome plated. Such materials are neutral to the aquatic environment, and mixers made from them are designed for long-term operation and are slightly contaminated with mineral deposits. Therefore, alloy is the best option for adapters and fasteners.
Sometimes in the manufacture of mixers alloy steel is used. But such material is more difficult to process, and more polluted. However, it depends on the specific model and the purity of the water in your area.
Turned left - turned right
Another novelty in the faucet market is models with a rotary aerator, which has proven itself both in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Almost all manufacturers have this option. You must admit that the ability to adapt the angle of incidence of water to the shape of a particular sink without turning the tap itself is very valuable! After all, then the stream pours to the bottom, and does not spray on the walls. For example, Grohe EcoJoy models are equipped with an aerator with a SpeedClean function that prevents the formation of limescale, and also limit water consumption to 5.8 liters per minute.
It is also worth paying attention to models equipped with a switch for the washing machine. They eliminate the need to separately supply water to household appliances.
Some models of faucets are equipped with a drain set. With this elegant mechanism, you can open and close the drain hole: just press the lever on the mixer body. Another option that deserves attention is a special pull-out spout that provides simple and effective care for the surface of the sink. With such a fixture, the plumbing will maintain an impeccable appearance for a long time, and cleaning will not require much time and effort.
Who are the stars?
The market for manufacturers of sanitary products is huge. As well as the price range of offers. But to make the mixer really convenient to use, it is better not to save on it. Indeed, your mood and daily comfort in everyday life depend on the chosen model! Therefore, it makes sense to dwell not on a disposable (literally) product, but on a mixer, the quality, reliability and durability of which are guaranteed by such world-famous brands as Grohe, Hansgrohe, Laufen, Jacob Delafon, Hansa, Kludi, Dornbracht, Kraus, Oras Roca and Ravak.
In the constantly updated model lines of these companies, a lot of innovations are applied - both design and the design itself. For example, according to the 10 ° concept of designer Krishtof Nosal (TM Ravak), the taps are tilted 10 ° in the direction of the hand, which makes them especially convenient. In addition, the series has two height options.
So that the buyer can easily determine what style he likes, Grohe divided its products (equipped with unique Grohe SilkMove technology, which provides an increased angle of rotation of the lever and the use of ceramic discs of exceptional quality) into thematic collections: SPA, Cosmopolitan, Contemporary and Authentic. There are two-valve models, as well as popular single-lever ones with both simple and the latest electronic filling. The unity of all collections is ensured by three common design elements - a single ring and oval shape, as well as an angle of inclination of 7 °.
How to choose a faucet for the sink?
For sinks with holes, the user selects a standard mixer, depending on the size of the bowl. The mixer and sink compatibility configurator, which can be found on the sites of manufacturers of sanitary products, will help here.
Elegant design and cost-effectiveness are also important for the Hansgrohe brand, especially if we talk about its elite brand Axor, faucets for which are developed by renowned designers. In addition, Hansgrohe begins to introduce the economical CoolStart technology in its Metris, Talis, Focus and Logis faucet lines (when the handle is in the central position, cold water is supplied, while hot water flows only if necessary). In combination with EcoSmart technology, the consumer saves up to 60% of water, which is very important at current tariffs.
The high-tech, amazing simplicity and organic combination of urban style with a natural design is demonstrated by the Hansa Murano X series: faucets made of metal and glass seem to soar in the air. Responsible for control are two sensors built into the glass surface. They have two levels of response: first, the LEDs light up, and then water starts to flow. The “smart” model with a hidden electronic unit impresses not only with its extraordinary ease of use, but also with the flow itself: the jet of water is very wide, smooth and soft.

Top manufacturers
Due to the wide variety of plumbing manufacturers in the market, it is difficult to choose the right mixer model. Nevertheless, there are peculiar “guarantors of quality” in the form of certain foreign and domestic companies. Italian brands Gessi and Visentin produce high quality sanitary ware. French faucets at low prices by Jacop Delafon are not inferior to them. Oras is a Finnish company focused on the high reliability of classic models at an affordable price, while Spanish Rosa mixers, by contrast, provide a wide range of design innovations.
Domestic production on the plumbing market was presented by such companies as Santekhpribor, Santarm and Addis. The average price for their products is about 1300-1800 rubles per mixer.
In order to choose a tall mixer suitable for the installed sink-bowl, you need to choose a high-quality manufacturer and a suitable model. In addition, in order for a quality product to serve the entire time allotted to it, it must be correctly installed and used. Do not make too much effort to close the levers so as not to break the thread, and once a year you need to clean the built-in filters from small debris and rust, and then the mixer will not cause any trouble for many years.
Varieties
Before traveling to the supermarket, it is worth determining which type of tap will fit the sink. They are:
- Single grab. They have a single lever (handle, valve, button). The mixer of this variant is characterized by ease of control.
- Two gripping. Equipped with two handles. Belong to the aging type of mixers. In everyday life are common.
- Sensory. An innovative option for the bathroom. Allows you to save water consumption. In recent years, the installation of such cranes is carried out in shopping centers.
- Portion-push. Used rarely for personal needs. Their action is based on a constant supply of water flow at fixed intervals. Often mounted in cafeterias.
Mixer Location
Prior to the purchase of plumbing, it is worth deciding on a place for fastening the mixer. If there are holes in the sink itself, installation is only possible in this way. In this situation, it is necessary to remember the number of holes - "landing" points.
The mixer is mounted in most cases on board. This type of plumbing fits under hinged, pedestal and semi-pedestal sinks. It is mounted in the wall in situations when there is no hole in the sink. This installation option is in trend. Wall models have an elegant body, various spouts.
The form
Only tall faucets are suitable for bowl-sinks. These design features guarantee the convenience of placing a jet of water. In addition, the spout length, according to the installation rules, is selected taking into account the dimensions of the sink - this approach protects against splashing and splashing.
In many popular mixers, a divider-aerator is located, which allows you to organize the flow in a "soft" version. This automatically saturates the air. Also, the aerator makes it possible to save water - the effect is achieved due to the incomplete opening of the tap. Over time, this unique device will need to be replaced.
The trend of 2018 is cascading spouts - this is a new principle for the operation of mixers. In models, such an innovation is implemented in various forms - “saucers” and shelves. When the crane opens, the pressure hits from unusual cascades.
Gutter models are also available. Their number can reach more than 1 piece. The result is a beautiful cascade.
Compatibility
In the world of plumbing, there are special compatibility conditions that must be observed:
- with a bowl of 200-220 mm, a crane is installed with a spout of 250 mm and above,
- if the bowl is medium (this is 170-180 mm), then it means the installation of any option,
- for small washbasins, the depth of which is 110-140 mm, installation of a medium-sized mixer is required - 150-250 mm.
Compliance with these conditions allows you to avoid difficult situations with spraying.
It is believed that the spout in the mixer should not be very long, thereby being located close to the outer edge of the sink. Failure to comply with this rule leads to constant douche.
Selection tips
Guided by the rules for the selection of plumbing, you can avoid numerous problems in the future:
- The purchase should be made in a specialized center or store. You should not save and make a purchase by announcement, since in such a situation the chance of getting a fake or marriage is quite large.
- The choice should be based on the brand: the more famous it is, the higher the quality of the product. German companies are popular - Hansgrohe and Grohe. You can choose a Polish product from the company Hansa. Well established also Carlo Frattini Visentin. Italians are famous for their beauty and elegance. Their brand Mamoli compares favorably with other analogues. If we consider domestic producers as competitors, then Aquatica proved to be a positive side. The purchase of a high Swiss brand mixer is also allowed. Gustavsberg.
- Product reviews should be studied in advance, before going to the store. Focus only on forums and discussions is not worth it. It is recommended to get advice from a locksmith who, in practice, knows all the weaknesses of cranes.
- At the time of purchase, a passport and warranty are issued for the mixer. Those devices that have a complex installation system are supplemented by instructions.
- Opening the box in the presence of the seller, you should check the availability of the completeness of the mixer. The kit should include fasteners and pipe connections. The packaging must indicate whether the factory hoses are included.
- Be sure to take into account the fact that at the installation site, the length of the drain and the inlet, the type of water outlets, threaded fittings, are pre-determined.
Compliance with the above rules and conditions avoids unnecessary problems: flooding, the strongest jet and increased water flow.

Harmony in the bathroom
The design in the shower room should be uniform, therefore, the selection of the mixer is approached with the utmost care. The harmony between the sink, faucet and the overall design of the room should be perfect. This is a whole composition in which a single style is supported.
The best way to select plumbing is a one-time purchase from a specific manufacturer from the same collection. But such an option to implement is not always obtained. Hence, to maintain the harmony of shape: the shape of the sink and the type of mixer are the goal of the buyer.
It is advisable to choose a white mixer tap for a classic interior - such European sanitary ware is also suitable for other styles.
To select a crane, you need to take into account the incredible number of requirements, factors and listen to the characteristics of the locksmiths. The result of careful selection is reliable and safe operation of the crane.
Tall faucets: how to choose an option for a sink-bowl?
The bathroom in the apartment is the most popular place, so picking up the only design that will combine all the preferences of the owners and fulfill the required tasks is not easy. External differences, functionality and quality of plumbing fixtures confuse an inexperienced buyer, because hundreds of varieties of such products are presented on store shelves. It is clear that the question arises of choosing the option for the sink-bowl, which is not easy to get the only right answer.
Design Features and Controls
Before choosing a faucet for the sink, you need to determine the optimal design of the product you need. Mixers are divided into:
- Two-valve - devices with 2 taps for adjusting the supply of hot and cold water. They habitually look in classic and vintage interiors. In terms of ease of use, 2-valve models are inferior to other products due to the longer temperature and pressure settings.
- Single-lever - functional models that are widely used due to their simplicity and ease of use. The pressure and water temperature in such devices are adjusted by moving the lever up and down and left and right. This allows you to quickly configure the desired flow settings.
- Thermostatic - convenient and economical mixers that supply a water flow of a given temperature regardless of the parameters of the water in the system. Typically, such products have 2 handles to set the optimum temperature and water pressure. The set parameters are saved until they are subsequently configured. Thermostatic faucets allow you to save time when adjusting the characteristics of the water flow, minimize the risk of burns, and exclude uncomfortable sensations when taking a shower. They are considered the best choice for families with children and the elderly.
- Contactless (sensory) - hygienic devices that can significantly save water. They have sensors that signal the need for water supply at the moment of approaching hands to the tap. Then the water supply automatically stops. Contactless mixers are ideal for installation in public places: hotels, cafes, restaurants, office and shopping centers.
The way to install sink faucets
In the matter of how to choose the mixer for the sink, it is necessary to take into account the method of its fastening. If mounting holes are provided in the sink, you need to take into account their number and select the appropriate model for mortise mounting in the side. In the absence of mounting holes, you can execute them yourself or choose a mixer of a different type of installation: wall-mounted, mortise for countertops, or built into a wall.
Wall-mounted models are mounted on water pipes leaving the walls. Built-in devices allow you to completely hide the pipes and fixtures from view, but their installation requires significant effort. Installation of such models includes wall chipping, laying of communications, installation of the rear panel and the mixer itself.
Material selection
The best materials for the production of faucets are brass and bronze. Brass products are the most common. They are corrosion resistant, but are additionally coated with a layer of nickel or chromium. Such coatings provide products with additional protection, hygiene and a more stylish look.
Bronze models must be coated, as over time, this material becomes covered with a greenish coating. When creating premium models, instead of chromium plating and nickel plating, more expensive materials are used - gilding, enamel, marble, inlaid with stones, etc.
Spout parameters
In the matter of how to choose faucets for the sink, the dimensions and functionality of the spout are of great importance. A correctly selected spout is convenient to use, harmoniously combined with a washbasin and does not allow splashing of water.
The optimal parameters of the mixer depend on the features of its application and the characteristics of the sink:
I. The height of the spout is selected depending on the objectives pursued and the depth of the washbasin:
- A high spout (from 25 cm) allows you to use the sink for washing your hair and other water procedures, which is especially important for families with babies and pets. But such models are only compatible with sufficiently deep washbasins.
- Low (12–15 cm) and medium (15–25 cm) spout - optimally suitable for washing hands and brushing teeth, go well with flat and shallow washbasins.
II. Spout length. There is a simple tip on how to choose a faucet for the sink according to size: the water jet at maximum pressure should fall in the middle of the bottom, in the area of the drain valve or between it and the front wall. Therefore:
- Long models are relevant for wide washbasins.
- Devices with a short spout perfectly complement the narrow washbasins.
III. The angle of incidence of the water stream:
- For faucets with a L-shaped spout, the jet falls to the bottom of the bowl at a right angle.
- For most models, the angle of incidence of the jet is greater - 110–135 °. Such products require wider washbasins.
IV. Design Features:
- Products with a swivel spout are able to serve both the sink and the adjacent bath. Usually they have a long spout.
- Mixers with a static spout - have an extended service life due to the lack of a movable mechanism.
- Faucets with cascading spout - spectacular models that deliver water in the form of a wide flat stream. Often have a backlight. Such products are pleasant to use and stylishly decorate the interior, but require more water consumption.
Presence of aerator, retractable spout, shower head
The aerator is a special mesh at the outlet of the spout, which allows you to get a full jet with reduced water costs. The aerator saturates the water stream with air bubbles, makes it more pleasant in tactile sensations and provides savings of up to 30% of water. Some mixers are equipped with rotary aerators. They allow you to adjust the angle of incidence of a water stream with one movement of your finger.
The functionality of the mixer extends the presence of a retractable spout or shower head. A retractable spout allows you to more comfortably wash your hair, draw water into buckets and other containers. The presence of a shower head is relevant in cases where there is a bathtub next to the washbasin and it is not equipped with a separate hygienic shower.
Mixer design
By style and design, sanitary fittings should be combined with a washbasin and the general interior of the room. To simplify this task, it is recommended to buy a sink and faucet from the same collection. Subject to this advice, plumbing will be ideally combined both visually and according to technical characteristics.
When using products from various collections, it is advisable to choose:
- for rounded sinks - taps with soft outlines,
- for angular washbasins - products with clear bends.
The style of the plumbing used should be identical or as close as possible. For example, classic 2-valve versions are suitable for retro-style washbasins, while modern design products are suitable for washbasins in high-tech or minimalism style. Mostly on sale faucets have a universal design and successfully fit into a variety of interiors.
How to choose a mixer - tips and tricks
A variety of faucets in the plumbing market allows you to choose a practical and at the same time stylish instance. However, not everyone knows how to choose the right mixer for different needs. After all, few people will like the expensive and beautiful attribute if puddles of water gather around the sink or spray constantly wet clothes. This article describes how to choose a faucet, considers options for use in the kitchen, in the bathroom and which products to give preference to.
Those who are wondering which mixer to choose need to decide on some questions:
- First you need to understand how it will be used - only for washing hands or also for hand washing, etc. The characteristics of the future plumbing item depend on these needs: whether it will be high or low, put a short or long mixer.
- Before choosing a faucet for a sink, it is important to know the parameters of your sink - it is deep and wide, or narrow and long. Only then can you think about a flat or curved mixer model.
- Clearly state your wishes regarding the parameters of the sink and the mixer, and then the consultants will advise which mixer is better to choose.
To know how to choose the mixer for the washbasin, you should consider the technical characteristics of the sink. The standard height of the sinks of any type - (laid on the pipe, mortise under or above the countertop) - 180-220 mm.
It is necessary to measure with a ruler or tape measure the distance from the middle of the hole for the mixer to the middle of the sink, where water should fall. If you take the drawing presented below - it is 450/2 = 225, but you need to take into account that the hole for the mixer is another 50 mm from the wall, respectively, it turns out 450-50 / 2 = 200 mm. For comfortable use of the mixer, 80-110mm in height is usually sufficient - just the width of the palm.
Example:
Based on these characteristics, in this case, a mixer with a spout height (spout) of 90 mm and a length of 200 mm is suitable. Please note that for most mixers the output is at an angle of 19-25 degrees, so you can take mixers from 110 mm long.
According to this principle, you can independently calculate which plumbing to purchase for a sink in the bathroom.
How to choose a kitchen faucet?
The question of how to choose a faucet for a sink in the kitchen is once asked by everyone. The height of the mixer is already selected based on the needs of the hostess, given the dimensions of the kettle, large, small pots, etc. A kitchen faucet can be of any height both 100mm and 300mm - the main thing is that its length does not exceed the middle of the sink. The principle of selecting a faucet for a kitchen sink is the same as that of a sink faucet, except for the height of the faucet. In order to know how to choose a faucet for the sink in the kitchen, again you need to know the width, depth, height of the sink.
These are standard sink dimensions. In this case, how to choose a faucet for the kitchen, consumer reviews tell us ready-made options. The most convenient are the following designs:
So, with the length and height sorted out. However, in how to choose a good kitchen faucet, you also need to know about the shape and design of the spout. You should not focus only on the appearance of the product. The spout must meet all the requirements during use in the kitchen:
- It must be necessarily rotatable, and the rotation sector must be freely moved to the desired direction. This is very true for sinks with two containers.
- The spout should preferably be shaped so that it does not interfere with the height of washing large dishes or collecting water into it.
For those who still do not quite understand how to choose a high-quality kitchen faucet, we advise you to contact the consultants of our online store who will certainly help with the choice.
Tips for choosing a bathroom faucet
You decided to update the plumbing not only in the kitchen, and are considering which mixer to choose in the bathroom? The selection of the bath faucet is carried out according to the same scheme as for the sink and kitchen sink, we only select the size of the bath.
We measure the length of the side of the bathtub from the wall and the desired length of the spout:
What else should be considered and which bathroom faucet is better to choose so that it is not only attractive in appearance, but also convenient to use?
- Be sure to pay attention to the mode switches. Follow the rule - the simpler the mechanism, the more reliable and durable it is. Some mixer models have electronic switches. Think about how convenient it is for you and whether it is worth overpaying for the sake of fashion.
- Before choosing a bath faucet, decide on how to install it. Usually it is mounted on the wall. There are also models that are mounted on the side of the bath itself or on the wall board made of tile. If you like the latter option, then at the same time how to choose a faucet for the bathroom, choose accessories for the vertical installation method.
- Another tip on which bath faucet is best. Between two options of the spout - fixed and rotatable, choose the latter. This will be an additional convenience in operation.
Which company to choose a mixer?
If the task is which mixer is better to choose, then listen to the opinion of experts:
- Firstly, it is recommended to buy the entire set of plumbing from one manufacturer. Each large plumbing company has its own standards, which sometimes do not coincide with the technical characteristics of their competitors' components.
- secondly, do not buy cheap goods in order to avoid the quick failure of plumbing. Many well-known manufacturers mark their products in a special way: engraving company names, original packaging, etc. Do not fall for a fake!
For those who are wondering which mixer manufacturer to choose, you can refer to the rating of the best, which is based on customer reviews:
Such trademarks are popular among the population of our country. However, in order to accurately understand for yourself which company a kitchen faucet is best to choose, as well as which company to choose a bathroom faucet, you need to compare their characteristics, parameters and quality.
Ask for a choice in the online store "Plumbing Room", and make the necessary purchase, without delaying for later!
How to choose the height mixer for the overhead sink?
Laid on sink 165 mm high. What are the parameters for choosing a washbasin mixer? What should be its minimum height?
According to Soviet [Russian] SNIPs and European standards, the height from the side of the sink to the spout should be from 70 to 200 mm, I support Igor’s answer, very low - it’s uncomfortable to wash your hands, high when washing your face will interfere and even the spray will be. The most practical way - go to the store, choose a faucet you like, go with a consultant to the overhead sink and determine how convenient it is. If you like it high so that there is no spray you can buy an additional aerator [spout with mesh] rotary with adjustable water pressure see photo then, the spray will be less and you can adjust the stream to a convenient place. I personally like the low [when washing my face with my head I do not fight] with a side tap, see the photo, for extravagance you can choose a waterfall mixer see the photo.
Well, in general, they (sinks) are different. It happens that the mixer stands directly on the sink (like on ordinary sinks), in Europe, usually under such sinks they make a hidden mixer in the wall, with an external horizontal spout. In your case, this is probably a basin-shaped sink without places under the mixer, so you need to put it on the countertop. First you need to determine the installation location, basically this is the place on the back side (i.e.directly behind the sink). Secondly, you need to take a faucet with a spout located strictly horizontally (in principle, these faucets are made specifically for such sinks, you will not be mistaken). Buy where they are mounted on stands with a sink similar to yours, see that your hands fit freely into the sink , it was convenient to wash. In short, I don’t think that you will have problems with this, but maybe they will arise with a siphon, a rare plumber will advise you what you need. And you need to take only an automatic machine for such sinks, a semiautomatic device walks, well, and hands from the right place. Good luck.
Thanks Igor! Could you at least roughly say what should be the distance from the spout to the edge of the sink. They offer a lot, including 2 cm, but something tells me that this is not so. Sinks mounted with taps rarely where. And to find a master who has hands from the right place, and even has a head - this is from the realm of the unbelievable! Igor, don’t you tell me, what siphon is needed for an acrylic shower tray? Thanks!
posted a link to you (if they miss it) at a convenient distance, it’s about 10-12 cm. There are distances of two cm, but firstly it’s not convenient, and secondly it’s done to visually match the design of the bath, in any case I don’t advise making such a small distance. On the second question: it is necessary to navigate from the pallet, namely from the diameter of the hole, and from the height of the pallet (if you advise McAlpine, this is the number one brand in the drain valve), and most importantly, carefully measure the height pan to let water go and easily, and mount correctly sewage pipes again for unimpeded sliva.Ochen well when the pallet is mounted without a podium, but rarely have any plumbing succeed.
Igor, thank you for the detailed and useful advice. And it always seemed to me that with the podium it is better to leave the water, because from a height. Somehow wrong?
Of course, water leaves better with the podium, it does not cause any doubt at all. But from an aesthetic point of view, it’s not very good. another laid the tiles, friction makes the installation, these are the moments that arise. You saw podiums somewhere in good repair, now the technology for installing the stairs in the tiles is quite common, you just open the glass door of your shower and go in there without any difficulty, I’m already I do not speak about the fact that you need to raise the leg by the size of the lower leg. In general, in order to do everything well, you must have a project drawn up by a professional (that is, a person who knows all the work), You need to take into account all the biases, bring the pipes where it’s necessary, not “plus or minus tram stop”, to take into account the thickness of the glue and much more. There is still a very big question of your financial capabilities, first of all, this is probably the most important point. If there are opportunities, then you can do well, the most the main thing is to find an intelligent master, but if jataí saved something no matter how hard you try, well hardly vyydet.Koroche my most important advice "on plumbers and electricians do not save" .Udachi you.

The meeting place of the sink and the mixer can take place on the side of the washbasin, on the countertop (for built-in models or freestanding bowls) and even in the air, because the mixer of the internal (hidden) installation "grows" directly from the wall and even sometimes is a rack mounted directly on sex, which is true, a rarity.

Depending on the type of installation of the mixer, sinks are available with one hole for single lever or two-valve models, with two or three holes, or no holes at all. There are mixers for four "landing" points. In this case, an opening is provided for a pull-out shower mini-watering can. The three-hole basin mixer comes with a quick installation kit.

The most common group includes models that are compatible with most sinks with a hole (wall mounted, with pedestal and semi-pedestal). The popularity of washbasin mixers with one mounting hole (both single-lever and two-valve) is due to ease of use and simple installation. This group also includes faucets designed for installation in two holes (the control lever and the spout are spaced) and in three holes (the spout and two handles are spaced). The case in the latter case is hidden under the bowl.
When choosing a sink faucet, pay attention to the characteristics of the sink itself, its width, depth (distance from the far to the front edge) and the height of the bowl. Comfort of use directly depends on this.

Manufacturers must attach a special kit for quick installation and inlet to the three-hole washbasin mixer, as well as detailed instructions, which greatly simplifies installation. The eyeliner can be of two types: rigid and flexible. A rigid eyeliner should be understood as a construction made of chrome-plated brass tubes, and a flexible one - a construction made of hoses protected by a stainless winding.
