We relatively recently live in a new building. At first, the repairs were pushed back by the presence of small children and the shrinkage of the house. Children have grown up, 2 years have passed since the house was commissioned, so in the fall of 2015 we globally took up the kitchen.
Now it's the turn of the living rooms. Finishing at the time of delivery was fine, so of course it was possible to live, but the wallpaper was paper, it was not so hot pasted, and the colors were not the best. There is also the moment that I want to choose colors in the rooms for myself at last.
Here are the wallpapers from the developer we had. The room is nicer. Though pasted terribly. But the color scheme was not very annoying.
And in one of the bedrooms like this. Paper, with a bunch of prints of dirty hands of builders, with unevenly cut joints. They wanted to rip off as soon as possible.

Therefore, it was necessary to smear the wall with glue, let it soak into the wall, then cover it with a second layer and only then glue the wallpaper. Otherwise, the glue was absorbed into the wall and the wallpaper and they did not stick in all places. We got used quite quickly, but such repeated spreading certainly leads to an additional waste of time.
Light wallpapers look so delicious on the wall. And at first I was going to write exactly a positive review. Until we got to pasting the walls with a chocolate shade.
And here we were waiting for surprise and disappointment.
When you buy expensive wallpapers - there is absolutely no thought that something might be wrong with them. So we until the last could not believe our eyes. We stuck the whole wall. Wallpaper I glue very well. Walked along all the joints to the millimeter. The wall below them was perfectly aligned. The first two canvases immediately confused me with the difference in shades and the fact that the junction was very visible. And this despite the fact that they are docked perfectly. The husband claimed that it was just because of the glue, that one was wetter from the glue, the other had already dried up. He suggested to wait and not draw conclusions. I somehow did not doubt his words. So we glued the wall. They waited until it dries, but the effect of the difference in tones has not gone anywhere. And then I took a closer look and realized for sure that it was not a glue at all. Each canvas has a brightened right edge with a width of 15-20 centimeters. Pay attention, because the junction is striking because the left edge of each canvas is darker than the right.
It was a failure. The day was simply killed, the wall that was leveled was killed.
Fortunately, the check was saved, the husband went to the store. I took a photo and made a complaint. Shop sellers immediately realized that there was a manufacturing defect. But still, there are rules. The procedure is certainly humiliating. One of the saleswomen even offered to remove the wallpaper and bring them to make sure of the difference in shades. The second, on the contrary, proposed to make a claim to the wallpaper supplier. The term of consideration is 30 working days. Despite the fact that the claim states that prior to the approval of the claim, defective wallpapers should not be removed. In general, there are so many nuances and nerves.
The main thing was that it was insanely insulting to see this horror on the wall. At this price for premium wallpaper, look at the picture of terrible quality. From a distance it looks worse than from the builder.
We hope that the money will still be returned to us. It's a shame for the time and money spent. After all, the wall is now to be re-made, smoothed and primed again, and this is again finances.
Something inside me is rebelling and saying that calling the category of wallpaper "Premium" there should be at least an elementary requirement for quality control. Wallpapers are such that until you stick them on and understand the difference between these shades. This is a marriage, which, alas, we could not even notice on the wall.
But the beige wallpaper fell so well.
Here we have such a sad experience. We look forward to an early positive response from the wallpaper salon. I think that we are simply obliged to return the money.
